World’s first 8k TV from sharp
/Sharp introduce a new TV with the next generation technology of 8K. it have a resolution of 7680 x 4320, the equivalent of 16x the resolution of HD. The TV is "likely" to feature 3D and Sharp's Quattron colour tech. it have a Unique LCD panel and proprietary high-vision video content driving technologies position Sharp to realize direct-view LCD high-vision for the mass-market in the near future, further cementing its status as a category leader.
It uses 33 million pixels to make the feel of real life. And the 8k technology is 16 times of the 1080 resolution. But the problem is the 85-inch LCD TV was showing video shot by one of very few 8K cameras in the world. The display will allow us to see the zoom and see the each object that is shown in the videos. With the resolution coming in at an astounding 7680 x 4320 pixels, uncompressed 30-minute broadcast would require about 6TB of data. The aspect ratio remains the same as with HDTV (16:9), but the frame rate is set at a 60p format, while HDTV uses 24p, 30p or 60i. Out with the standard 7.1 surround sound as well. The UHDTV format supports up to a completely immersive 22.2 multichannel sound system, which was developed by NHK.
